The me-tree

In time

all my leaves will fade and fall,
hush to the ground in light swaying dances

or twirl,
reaching the destination in a hurry.

Either way,
I´ll be letting go of one by one
tenderly nudging those who linger
until I stand naked and cold

ready to start over.
